Flamingo Eventz stays busy organizing fairs in the northeast of the United States. For this Christmas season they are hosting a “quickie” 4 hour event on December 8th in Bedford, NH at Noah’s Event Venue, 379 South River Road. The hours are a brisk 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This is one of six once-a-month events they are hosting there. Think of what they are doing as an anti-Amazon opportunity. Everything there, including many of the exhibitors, will be old and many of things they’ll offer – even older. In other words, they are survivors and what they’ll be offering: survivals. For many people such material has an appealing story if not the original packaging.
Many couples attend such fairs and invariably one of the two is an enthusiast and the other a pragmatic. “I just love this” to which the rejoinder is inevitably “but where will you put it?” If you attend prepare your stories and justifications in advance.
Experienced antiquers attend such fairs because bargains lurk among the jumble.
If you are in New Hampshire on December 8th you’ll have the opportunity to put some non-standard things under the tree.
Admissions is $5.00. John Bruno, a star of Market Warriors, will be offering appraisals between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at $5.00 per item.
