For the week ended Friday, 27 January 2023, 45 auctions were archived to Rare Book Hub’s Transactions+ database, 1 denominated in Danish krone, 7 in euros, 3 in British pounds, 1 in Mexican pesos, and 33 in US dollars.

 

Turnover this past week was $16,101,137.14 as 83.12% of all lots changed hands.  There were 9,228 offered and 7,670 transacted.  The average lot sold for $2,099.24.

 

The market is beginning to focus on the California book fairs as dealers, collectors and collecting institutions are poised to see fresh stock.
