Rare Book Hub: 33 Auctions Archived, another 29 Upcoming this Week

For the week ended Friday, 10 April 2020, 33 auctions were archived to the Rare Book Hub Transaction Database; 15 denominated in euros, 1 in British pounds, and 17 in US dollars as 9,473 lots were offered and 7,370 sold for a 78% success rate.  Given that the world is in the grip of both financial and health anxieties the auctions component of the rare book, manuscript, map and ephemera fields are holding up well.  For the houses, consignors and bidders this is an inspiring demonstration.  Their success is well earned.  In this market it takes both brains and guts.  History will will remember you in a favorable light.
