Rare Book Hub: 18 Auctions Archived, 21 Upcoming this Week

For the week ended Saturday, January 13, eighteen (18) auctions were archived to the Rare Book Hub Transaction Database; 2 denominated in euros, 1 in British pounds, and 15 in US dollars.  Total turnover was $15,334,793 as 11,666 lots were offered and 10,312 sold for an 88% success rate. 

 

This week ephemera dominated, specifically rare currency notes.  Almost 90% of the dollars and all of the top 25 prices recorded came from three Heritage currency auctions. It was a strong week and a good start to 2018. For the week upcoming 21 sales are scheduled.
