Nine new catalogues are reviewed this month.

This month we review nine new catalogues from booksellers. Some have a specific focus while others provide more of a variety of types of material. Shapero Rare Books focuses on Baedeker and other travel guides. The Lawbook Exchange has recent acquisitions in the law, 16th - 20th centuries. The Veatches Arts of the Book offers material in the book arts, such as artists' books, bindings, calligraphy and typography. David M. Lesser Fine Antiquarian Books targets rare Americana.

 

From The Kelmscott Bookshop we have items from the book arts such as fine presses and artists' books, but also unrelated fields such as literature, history, art, travel & exploration. Honey & Wax Booksellers has a mix of often unexpected items. Bull's Head Rare Books offers a “Not Fair” catalogue. James Cummins Bookseller presents a selection of fine books and manuscripts.
