Item 5 is Pedro de Arenas' Guide de la Conversation en trios langues Francais, Espagnol et Mexicain... published in 1862. This is a trilingual speaking guide, in French, Spanish, and Mexican. Mexican? Is that a language? Where is it spoken? Spanish is the language of Mexico. £22 (US $36).

Item 185 is a look at Spain in the late 18th century: Travels through Spain, in the Years 1775 and 1776, by Henry Swinburne. Swinburne devoted much of his life to traveling, one of the possibilities open to people of independent means. This book is noted for Swinburne's drawings of local architecture. £1,450 (US $2,369).

Item 148 is an early look at the city of Toledo: Descripcion de la Imperial Ciudad de Toledo. This is a 1617 second edition of Francisco de Pisa's work (the first was published in 1605).
