Item 26 is Voiage de la saincte cite de Hierusalem, by Bartholomeus Georgiewitz. This book contains two parts. One is of the Hungarian native's trip from Paris to Jerusalem. He recounts incidents from his trip and the things in saw in the holy city. The other part tells of a most unpleasant earlier part of his life. Georgiewitz was captured by the Turks when they invaded his homeland, and he was carried off to Turkey where he was held as a slave. It took him twenty years before he was able to effect an escape. He provides much information about Turkey, some of it uncomplimentary, but what could anyone expect under the circumstances? This book was published in 1600, forty years after Georgiewitz died. $21,230.
