Signed Material from David Schulson Autographs
Postcard signed by Freud and other early psychoanalysts.
Item 17 is a picture postcard of an outdoor café in Vienna. What is notable is that it was signed by members of the Vienna Psychoanalytic Society on June 16, 1904. This group included the founders of psychoanalysis, the most notable of whom was Sigmund Freud. Freud had started the group two years earlier, but it would take two more for it to reach a significant size. Along with Freud, the postcard has been signed by Dr. Alfred Adler, Wilhelm Stekel, and others. $7,500.
