Description

Addison & Sarova Auctioneer's is a branch of Addison's Rare Books & Gallery, LLC, and is operated from the historic city of Macon, Georgia. Beginning as antiquarian book dealers, years of experience expanded our expertise into diverse areas of collecting including rare books, fine jewelry, fine art, and decorative arts. Originally providing fine items on the retail market, Addison & Sarova now brings buyers and sellers together via fine auctions. Bringing the hospitality and expertise of the retail environment into the fast pace environment of public auctions is one attribute that sets Addison & Sarova apart. We have a buying audience especially interested in fine items, and bidders may bid on the auction floor, via telephone, absentee bid, or via online bidding. These diverse bidding options make bidding in our auctions easy. Our specialists have years of combined experience in their respective fields, and the staff is not only regarded for their expertise but also for their friendliness, professionalism, and character. Consignors are treated as individuals, and the specialists are committed to helping you with selling your property for the best possible price.

Owner and principal auctioneer, Michael Addison, is a licensed auctioneer in the State of Georgia (#AU003847.) He holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and, more than a dealer and auctioneer, Mr. Addison is also an avid collector of rare books and fine art, and he brings the passion of a collector to each sale.
