Rare Book Hub: 46 Auctions Archived, another 40 Upcoming this Week

For the week ended Friday, 16 October 2020, 46 auctions were archived to the Rare Book Hub Transactions+ Database; 1 denominated in Danish kroner, 17 in euros, 4 in British pounds, and 24 in US dollars.  Turnover was $50,432,333 as 10,050 lots were offered and 8,052 sold for an 80% success rate.

 

The Arader Sale completed on the 12th was noteworthy for its size:  $18,610,969, while Christies' sale of Shakespeare's First Folio at $9,978,000 may well be the highest single realization in 2020.
