17 catalogues are reviewed this month.

Seventeen new booksellers catalogues are considered in this month's review section of AE Monthly. A magnificent new catalogue has just been published by Phillip J. Pirages. Garrett Scott, Bookseller, has a collection of strange but fascinating American pamphlets. There are more unusual American pamphlets from David Lesser Fine Antiquarian Books, and early Americana from Helen Kahn Rare Books. High Ridge Books offers a collection of mostly, though not entirely, American maps.

"Egodocuments" are defined as personally written biographical material, and Gert Jan Bestebreurtje Rare Books has a whole lot of them. Children's books are easier to understand, and Aleph-Bet Books has 600 of these. The Veatchs Arts of the Book has some fine examples from the book arts, while Oak Knoll Books has books about books and the book arts, and a few interesting stories. Fine press and poetry are the focus of Alexander Rare Books.

Kaaterskill Books has a catalogue of books related to Japan and the Japanese people. Libreria de Antano's catalogue is devoted entirely to poet Pablo Neruda. Waverly Books features film and literature, the Lawbook Exchange antiquarian legal texts. J & J Hanrahan offers miscellanea, the Antiquariaat Forum works they displayed at the Madrid Book Fair, while John Michael Lang Fine Books presents 25 very varied items.
