Fourteen new booksellers' catalogues are reviewed in Section Two of November's AE Monthly. Represented, along with the U.S., are sellers from England, France, the Netherlands, and Argentina. There are some distinctively American manuscripts, letters and such from Bruce N. Johnson and Joe Rubinfine. William Reese celebrates his 250th catalogue with 25 truly spectacular items. Bauman Rare Books and the Heritage Book Shop add some top tier material as well. Bernard Shapero offers illustrated books, The Veatchs color printing and wood engraving. Oak Knoll offers leaf books. Gert Jan Bestebreurtje has non-European ethnography, though most of these books were written by Europeans. Libreria de Antano presents works from small presses of South America. Alexander Rare Books presents literary firsts and poetry, Between The Covers "Newe Arryvals." Librairie Thomas-Scheler has three 15th century copies of Le Chevalier Delibere (an illustrated old epic poem), while bookseller/publisher Arthur Clark offers some new titles about old times.
