ILAB-LILA emphasizes rare and collectible material
By Bruce McKinney
During the Month of May AE has begun to match both member keyword terms and phrases in MatchMaker accounts against material listed for sale on the ILAB-LILA site. The acronyms represent the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers and the Ligne Internationale de la Librairie Ancienne. In the United States ABAA [Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America] member listings are also included on this site through an affiliate relationship.
ABEbooks.com is the largest book listing site in the used book field but the listings include all types of material. ILAB-LILA is a specialist in rare and collectible books, manuscripts and ephemera.
MatchMaker members of AE will find matches against ILAB-LILA listings in their match files. AE presently matches titles against ABE and upcoming auctions worldwide. Separately AE provides keyword and phrase matches against eBay, traditional auctions worldwide, and now ILAB-LILA.
Skilled dealers and collectors use these focused tools to identify material as it emerges in different marketplaces around the globe.
