133 Auctions in March

It is common now for a hundred auctions in the books, manuscripts, maps and ephemera fields to be scheduled in a single month.  It seems, in fact, that we’ll see a two hundred-auction month in the next three years.  There is simply too much material to sell and increasingly, not enough time to post and sell in the traditional way.  The transition will be both difficult and refreshingly easy.  For those who hold out for the top dollar it may be tough.  For those who sell to the highest bidder, even when that bid is less than expected, it will work out.  Here are 108 opportunities during March.
