Bookseller Pleads Guilty to Income Tax Evasion

Mr. O'Brien pled guilty to two counts of failure to file income taxes, and two counts of failure to pay income taxes. He faces a maximum sentence of four years in prison. Mr. Bharara has concluded the appropriate sentence, following the official sentencing guidelines, is 37-46 months, the reduction from the maximum attributable to his accepting responsibility.

 

Sentencing will take place at a later date.
