Item 23 consists of two illuminated manuscript initials, the letters "P" and "B." These were taken from a larger French work from 1500-1520, perhaps from Tours. The work has been attributed to an artist identified as "Master of Morgan 85" from a Book of Hours in the Morgan Library. The "B" is a miniature with a drawing of David and Goliath within the letter, while the "P" contains an image of the nativity. $25,000.
