Item 67 is the privately published Her Garden, a book from 1928 celebrating the garden of Isabell Hutton Coykendall of Kingston, New York, U.S.A. The book was put together as a tribute to Mrs. Coykendall by her husband, Edward Coykenndall. Coykendall was President of the Ulster & Delaware Railroad at the time, a line running from Kingston to Oneonta, New York. That wouldn't sound like a heavily traveled route, but the line was built before automobiles, and judging by the nature of the Coykendall home, it must have continued to be a lucrative route. The family sold it to the New York Central in 1932, which would later become the Penn Central and then Amtrak. However, Mrs. Coykendall didn't have to worry about that as she had a lovely home and spectacular gardens. The book was printed at the Pynson Press of legendary bookman Elmer Adler. €1,200 (US $1,554).
