12 New Catalogues Reviewed This Month

Twelve new catalogues.

For April we review 12 new catalogues. This month, the greatest concentration is in various types of Americana. David M. Lesser Fine Antiquarian Books and the George S. MacManus Company both offer selections of rare Americana. Lorne Bair Rare Books features American radicalism. Old West Books targets the American West. Joe Rubinfine has a selection of American historical autographs. The William Reese Company offers a selection of Americana. Neatline Antique Maps has a one-of-a-kind hand-drawn map of San Francisco in 1850.

 

Moving offshore, Shapero Rare Books has a selection of European voyages, both to the Pacific and to the Americas. The Lawbook Exchange presents books displayed at the recent New York Antiquarian Book Fair. Zephyr Rare Books has a selection of sample catalogues. Erasmushaus has a variety of antiquarian books. Ursus Rare Books features a selection of "imagination and the illustrated book."
